SVR handball players with home win, home defeat and anniversary
On Sunday, our very well-attended sports hall hosted two handball matches. Both matches produced decisive results.
Leipzig Region, Regional League, our second SVR seven lost 22:29 to Germania Zwenkau III. We were always behind. A few veterans were substitutes.
In the Leipzig region, Regional League, our first SVR team defeated HSG Neudorf/Döbeln II 31-20. It was a strong performance.
The crowd was also enthusiastic, especially the drumming Activistas. And the new green and white kit deserves a mention. In addition to the emblems of the decades and advertising, the jerseys also feature the silhouette of our Pleiße town, Regis-Breitingen. The tracksuit bottoms also feature a special detail: the former BSG Aktivist emblem (sponsored by the mining industry), a ring with a fist, two hammers, and a wrench.
The top scorers named:
SVR II: Philipph Billwitz (5), Marcel Naumann (4) and Tommy Schwarz (3)
Zwenkau III: Titzian Vogler (6), Stefan Becker and Gerard Boudoux (4 each), Max Beese, Daniel Rogel and Felix–Anton König (3 each),
SVR I: Niklas Schmidt (12), Pascal Palm (5), Denny Wiesner and Nils Göschel (3 each)
Neudorf/Döbeln II: Harm Krüger (10) and Philipp Schubert (4)
