Athletics: U10 team takes 1st place in Beucha

A surprise at the KKJS team competition in Beucha. Our U10 team took first place to Regis-Breitingen. Our boys and girls had to master a total of six stations, and they were tough. First up was the lawn sprint – a relay race. Next came a throwing discipline – the medicine ball throw. This was followed by an obstacle relay race and a target throwing exercise. The penultimate task for our athletes was a zone long jump. Finally, there was a special highlight: the biathlon obstacle relay, which involved combining almost all disciplines. Every missed throw at the shooting range was punished with squats. At the end, it was a matter of trembling and excitement until we were narrowly crowned the winners of the competition.
