Athletics: District Championships

The district track and field championships took place at the Dr. Fritz Fröhlich Stadium this weekend. Since the competition was only open to athletes in the 10-year-old age group, our younger athletes competed in this older group. And despite the older competition, they were able to impress with their skills and claim a few podium finishes.

Helen Fischer (age group W15): 1st place in the Sprint/Jump block competition

Hanna Reuter (age group W15): 1st place in the block throwing competition

Luca Hammer (age group M11): 1st place in the pentathlon

Mika Oberreich (age group M11): 2nd place in the pentathlon

William Wolf (age group M10): 1st place in the pentathlon

Florian Firke (age U18): 2nd place in the high jump

Tilo Fichtner (age group M13): 1st place in high jump, ball throw and 60-meter hurdles

Tim Hammer (age group M12): 2nd place in the high jump

Milo Schleußing (age group M10): 2nd place in the 800m run, 3rd place in the shot put

Ela Fichtner (age group W10): 2nd place in the 50m sprint

Rita Heistermann (age group W10): 1st place in the 50m sprint, 2nd place in the 60m hurdles, 1st place in the softball throw
